Ryan has rules.
Consistently good writing is a product of form and function. That's why Ryan is a firm propagator of the 50/50 rule, the 80/20 rule, and a slew of other handy best practices that are mostly official and not very proprietary.
Ryan gets bored.
And he recognizes that people do too. Rather than taking pride in tidying up the "woulds and shoulds, wills and shalls, thats and whiches, etc." he focuses his energy on tacos—and on writing copy that's objectively interesting.
Ryan isn’t native.
Though he was born and raised just outside of Detroit, Ryan understands that peoples and cultures think (and speak) differently. When he writes, he considers the lifestyle, beliefs, traditions, tastes, worries, and colloquialisms of his intended audience.
Ryan works too much.
Call him a workaholic if you will, but Ryan is a curious fellow. Along with working for good people like you, he brews kombucha, climbs mountains, masters dungeons, publishes novels, and helps his fellow authors do the same.
